Christmasween at the Wildwoods Convention Center 2026

Halloween and Christmas meet on the Wildwood boardwalk this month. Christmasween takes over the Wildwoods Convention Center on Saturday, November 14, 2026, from noon to 4 p.m., with costumed monsters, cosplay characters and holiday photo ops for the whole family. The idea behind Christmasween is a fun one: it is the holiday in between, when the monsters take a vacation at the Jersey Shore. For one afternoon the Wildwoods Convention Center fills with favorite creatures and cosplay characters, and guests are invited to mingle, pose and party with them. Organizers call it the selfie event of the season, so bring a charged phone or a camera and plan on plenty of pictures.

This is a family-friendly event, not a haunted attraction. There are no jump scares, which makes it a good pick for younger kids who love dressing up but are not ready for a scary walk-through. It is also an easy way to stretch costume season a few more weeks and get a head start on holiday photos at the same time.

Costume rules

Costumes are welcome and encouraged. One important rule: no one will be admitted wearing a mask or a prop that covers the face, so plan an outfit that keeps your face visible. There is no costume contest, so the pressure is off. Wear whatever makes you smile, from a full creature look to an ugly holiday sweater with a pair of devil horns.

Tickets and timing

Admission is $15 for adults and $10 for children 13 and under, and tickets can be purchased online through the Christmasween website. The doors open at noon and the party runs until 4 p.m., so a midday arrival leaves time to grab lunch on or near the boardwalk before or after. Make a day of it in the Wildwoods

The Wildwoods Convention Center sits right on the boardwalk, so a walk along the boards and the beach is an easy add-on on a crisp November afternoon. Christmasween is also an early start to a busy holiday stretch on the island, with Christmas in North Wildwood running November 27 to 29 and Wildwoods December Restaurant Week running November 27 to December 6, 2026.
