Warren County, NJ pours more than wine. Hackettstown has become a small craft drinks hub with two breweries and a distillery within walking distance of each other, and Blairstown is home to the county’s first brewpub. Here is where to go for a cold weather pint or cocktail.

Buck Hill Brewery and Restaurant

  • Where: 45 State Route 94, Blairstown

Buck Hill is Warren County’s first brewpub, pairing American food with craft beers brewed on site. Inside seating is joined by two outdoor patios with a rustic patio bar, an outdoor fireplace and multiple fire pits for chilly nights. It runs regular specials, including Sunday football. Call 908-854-5300.

Living Spirits

Why Warren County Sips Local

Warren County’s farm roots run through its drinks scene, and the county tourism office links breweries and wineries along its Grains and Grapes Trail. Small batch producers here brew and distill on site, so the beer list or cocktail menu often changes with the season. Winter is a good time to try darker beers, barrel aged releases and warming cocktails by a fire pit.

Make It a Valentine Street Afternoon

Czig Meister and Living Spirits share Valentine Street, and Man Skirt is a short hop away on Main Street, so you can visit all three in one outing. Downtown Hackettstown restaurants fill in the gaps for dinner, and the Hackettstown BID’s Hometown Holiday on Friday, December 4, 2026 adds a festive reason to be in town.

  • Always plan a safe ride home or a designated driver.
  • Living Spirits requires guests to be 21 or older.
  • Check each spot’s social pages for holiday hours.

Looking for a gift? Growlers, cans and bottles from these makers are an easy way to share a taste of Warren County with friends and family, and several spots sell merchandise and gift cards too. Ask at the bar about holiday releases and to go options before you leave.
